Job Description

Business Analyst and Systems Adminstrator, Intermediaries 

Reports to:

Sr. Vice President, Intermediaries

Overall Responsibility:

The role of the hire would be to support the Indirect Group with oversight and management of 3rd Party CRM and databases. The analyst will be expected to maintain systems to support sales and servicing of FAM and Fenimore investment solutions and provide data analytics to the Intermediaries team.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Management – coordination of IT systems to support timely, accurate, and effective Indirect initiatives and ongoing productivity.

  • Salesforce – CRM database maintenance, data uploads for asset flows, marketing campaign support, levels of service initiatives within territories – daily.

  • Celera – process and oversee daily downloads for trade information.  Distribute & mine reports for sales tracking.  Daily and monthly.

  • Omni Database – update online depositories for monthly performance.  Review content for omissions, changes.  Monthly.

  • Discovery RIA – coordination with the Salesforce database, run screens to mine advisors. As needed.

Intermediary Support

  • Morningstar Direct – produce fund analysis/ hypotheticals.  As needed.

  • RFP assistance – provide analyses and content for inbound requests for submission. Occasional.

  • Sugar Sync – Maintain file systems related to marketing collateral in sync. Monthly.

  • Communication - distribution of quarterly updates and push eDistribution. Quarterly.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications and Skillset

  1. Business or accounting degree

  2. Computer science or information systems coursework with data management skills

  3. Analytical experience and proven ability for data assimilation & report writing

  4. Deep Excel knowledge and ability to manage spreadsheets

  5. Organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  6. Team player and likeability

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Industry experience with knowledge of investment products and strategies

  2. Series 6 securities license within 12 months
