JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Clinical Reporting
REPORTS TO: Director, Clinical Quality & Reporting
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt
Under the direction of the Director, Clinical Quality & Reporting:
Primary function is to deliver Physician Practice Information, including but not limited to, Cave Pattern Variation Report Information, Accountable Care Metric Management Information, Pharmacy Profile Information, Quality Outcome Information, Physician Incentive Program and Transparency results to physicians in a way that will influence their practice habits and patterns in a positive manner for their Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare populations. Overall objective is to improve quality of care and encourage appropriate care to be delivered in the appropriate setting. Analyzes reports and develops executive summaries and Power Point presentations of the reports. Executive Summaries evaluates trends over time and identifies areas of improvement. Power point presentations provide an overview of the outcomes. Develops and implements a system of communication and tracking that ensures physicians have access to these reports and the “outliner” physicians are targeted for the most intensive education/coaching opportunities. Develops, implements, and monitors overall procedures and strategies for the delivery to and interaction of physicians within the region. In appropriate areas, facilitates physicians working together to improve utilization/quality outcomes. Provides support for medical home projects in the region. Conducts medial record reviews for regulatory requirements as needed. Travel is required for the position. The territory the position is responsible for is Rochester, New York. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Registered Nurse Clinical diploma required; Bachelor’s level RN preferred; Current NYS license required.
Previous experience working with Physicians required; Professional Relations experience preferred.
Three years of varied work experience in clinical services desired/preferred.
Prior report preparation and presentation experience helpful.
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and written communication skills. Ability to turn around a negative audience and deal with high pressure situations
- Proven ability to establish relationships and influence the behavior of professional clinicians.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Valid New York State Drivers’ license
