Reports to Supervisor, Field Marketing The Field Marketing Coordinator is critical in strengthening brand and image of MVP within the communities where we do business and with the constituent groups determined by strategy. Responsibilities include the oversight and management of vendor/partner relationships, sponsorships and initiatives that further MVP’s Vision and Mission and support customer acquisition and retention, including support of sales channels. In this role, the Field Marketing Coordinator will work with internal customers to develop integrated events that support their sales or business strategy. Participate in department’s budget management by coordinating and processing purchase orders, invoices and check requests. Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized with strong time managements skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Candidate should also be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Some travel is necessary to build relationships with key business and community leadership and organizations within the MVP footprint (New York and Vermont). Working knowledge of the health insurance industry is a plus. Field Marketing supports sales and marketing product launches in NYS, VT and further marketplace penetration by developing and refining strategies around key messages, communication methods and tactical deployment/execution of branded events. The Field Marketing Coordinator represents MVP in the community and must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with key external vendors and community leaders.



Required Skills:
•A strong understanding of marketing and branding principles
•A strong understanding of the experimental/field marketing and community relations landscape
•Ability to travel throughout the MVP footprint (NYS and VT)
•Ability to work outside the normal workday to implement division and experimental marketing events
•Demonstrates ability to negotiate and build consensus
•Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other departments
•Experienced in budget management and tracking to goals
•Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and take direction from several internal customers
•Exceptional communication skills including writing, editing, PPT development
•A working knowledge of advertising and sales
