Monitors Pharmacy programs to ensure they are meeting stated goals and objectives and routinely reports status to Pharmacy management. Ensures Pharmacy work plan reflects progress of activities. Coordinates/tracks project tasks and implementations to ensure timely completion/on-time finish. Maintains master departmental compliance grid and internal policy manual and ensures that all policies are reviewed and updated per requirements. Updates departmental response plan, submits HIPAA breaches, and creates and monitors corrective actions if needed. Coordinates and/or assists with regulatory or compliance audits. In conjunction with V.P. Pharmacy Programs, creates the RX annual report and RX section of the QI annual report. Performs monthly analysis MAR controls and watchdog reporting. Responsible for Hixny and CVS caremark user provisioning. Maintains departmental contract log. Acts as a departmental resource for management team. Coordinates and/or monitors requests and performance reporting between Pharmacy vendors and MVP. Coordinates departmental responses to RDS. Continually evaluates existing processes for potential improvement. Produces key departmental metrics. Ability to adapt to a fast-pace, changing environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues as they exist and change from time to time. Performs other related duties as assigned.


-Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel (intermediate skill level).

-Exceptional organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills required.

-Knowledge of medical claims processing required.

-Knowledge of statistical analysis and excellent analytical skills required. Some statistical background or experience a plus. Superior

attention to detail and strong project management skills required.

-Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods.

Minimum Education:

BA/BS degree required

Minimum Experience:

Work experience in healthcare/health insurance or a statistical area required. Two years in pharmacy role within healthcare
