Salary Min: USD $50,473/yr


The incumbent will assist with workplan goals by coordinating performance measure tracking with enrollment of laboratory’s performing blood lead testing. Specific duties will include: developing data entry procedures, data cleaning routines, data dissemination templates, and internal guidance documents for staff training. The Data Administrator III will also establish data processing routines to ensure laboratory reporting is accurate and timely, assist with annual work plans and periodic reports for the CDC and other stakeholders utilizing the performance measures database and perform other related duties as assigned. 


Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and one year of data quality improvement, data analysis and/or data reporting experience; OR an Associate's degree and three years of such experience; OR a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of such experience. A Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with state or local health department lead poisoning prevention; experience in a clinical or laboratory setting; experience with developing guidance documents; experience working with on-line registries and electronic clinical and laboratory reporting systems; excellent communication; interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. 

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
