JOB TITLE: Director, Network Strategy (Job ID: 905)                      

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

LOCATION: Schenectady


Under the direction of the Executive VP of Network Management, the Director of Network Strategy will lead enterprise efforts on network management planning, provider evaluation, provider reimbursement strategy, and provider experience and provider communication.

The Director of Network Strategy will have the following responsibilities:

  • Development of the Network Management annual plan aligned to the MVP Strategy Map
  • Lead enterprise development and roll out of new reimbursement and steerage strategies designed to reward providers for quality and efficiency and reduce waste (currently Rowdmap);
  • · Develop contract standardization plan for preferred contracting models and alternate acceptable standards.
  • Conduct research with provider partners in development of MVP models
  • Support sales in RFP and presentations
  • Assist product teams in development of value based product design.
  • Lead network management team in collecting and evaluating competitive intelligence.


Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree in health care administration, finance, management or business administration is highly desirable.

Minimum Experience:
Ten or more years of management experience in the health care or health analytics field.

Required Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in planning, strategy development and execution of strategy.

• Leadership experience working with physicians and hospitals.

• Proven analytical and contract negotiation skills.

• Experience developing and implementing new reimbursement methodologies and experience in developing and nurturing long-term provider partnership relationships.

• Strong organizational, managerial, information technology, communications and interpersonal skills.
