Early Learning Center Coordinator

The YWCA Northeastern NY, a leader in quality Early Childhood Education programs, is looking for a Coordinator to oversee the Early Learning Center at our location on the Schenectady County Community College campus. Responsibilities include daily oversight of staff, children, parents and volunteers in the program.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Mondays-Fridays. Hours vary, but typically are 8:30 - 5:00 pm. The salary range is $14.00 - 15.25 per hour.   • Strong leadership and managerial skills a must.
  • Knowledge of both NAEYC and Quality Stars NY criteria and OCFS regulations required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree including, or in addition to, 12 credits Early Childhood, Childhood Development, or related field.
  • One year full-time teaching AND supervisory experience in a child day care center, family, or group family day care program or a related field of work.
