The Software Engineer is a member of a SCRUM team with the primary responsibility of designing and developing solutions which are on time, on budget, and meet business & quality requirements. This role works closely with business and technology partners to convert business requirements into working software solutions that meet business needs. The Software Engineer can play multiple roles as part of a SCRUM team to help ensure commitments in sprints are accomplished 


Minimum Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience required in Health Care/Business Administration, Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science or related field  

Minimum Experience: 

Software Engineer II: ·       

5+ years in Software Development ·       

Proven experience in ETL ·       

Proven experience in successfully applying best practices/concepts ·       

Proven experience in reviewing & writing design documents & specifications ·       

Database: Proficient in 2 or more DBMS (MS-SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle) ·       

Preferred skills: Informatica, SSIS, T-SQL, Database Tuning ·       

Proficient in 2 or more (.NET, C#, Java)  

Required Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to accomplish development tasks     
• Exhibits good logical thinking abilities, troubleshooting and analytical skills     
• Preferred: Good understanding of standard development/SDLC processes      
• Preferred: Experience in Agile/Scrum  
• Preferred: Understanding of health care business/delivery process.    
• Preferred : Understanding of Project Management concepts     
• Self-motivated and directed with the ability and dedication to meeting aggressive deadlines while ensuring quality delivery.     
• Good understanding of testing methodologies    
• Good interpersonal skills (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication skills ·       
• Comfortable working in team environment as well as independently, and possess sense of accountability in completing assignments 
• Facets, CareRadius and Macess experience a plus.
