Financial Sales Analyst

This position is available in either our Boston office or Albany, NY location.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops, prepares, analyzes, and distributes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports
  • Interfaces with sales management to develop recommendations regarding business planning, operating forecasts, and financial plans
  • Analyzes and reports on sales forecast and pipeline by geography
  • Responsible for creation of sales metrics and reporting on items such as sales rep productivity,
  • Assists in commission plan development and modeling
  • Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Provides analysis of actual versus budget amounts
  • Researches and reports on industry benchmarks; analyzes and compares company’s results to best practices
  • Reviews general ledger activity to ensure all activity is properly recorded and reflected in general ledger
  • Assists with the development and implementation of accounting and finance policies and procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent
  • Three to five years related experience or equivalent
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent proficiency with MicroSoft Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
