Grants Administrator II

Description:

The incumbent is responsible for application preparation and submission, RFA/RFP review, contract and grant negotiations, post-award management, and ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines. Additional responsibilities include: participation in the management of day-to-day operations of the Office of Sponsored Programs, reporting and report development, budget forecasting and analysis, development and delivery of training programs, and participating in various work groups. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree and five years of relevant experience OR seven years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience in grant and contract administration. Experience with Federal and non-Federal sponsor guidelines and requirements. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Acrobat. Certified Research Administrator certification.
