This position is an integral part of our sales/marketing team.   This is a hybrid position where the person must possess experience (including internships) as an inside salesperson with some outside sales experience.  Reporting to: Vice President Exterior Relati


Core Competencies/Requirements:

  • Technical Degree or some technical knowledge/familiarity preferred
  • Internship or professional experience functioning as an inside salesperson within  a company which sells technical products – preferably electro/mechanical, plumbing, HVAC 
  • Ability to interpret customer’s technical specifications and drawings in order to produce a multi-part quotation for both individual parts and complete systems comprised of parts
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Basic competency of Outlook, MS word, Excel with preference in exposure/experience to CRM and construction leads system software
  • Preferred experience interfacing with  distributors/manufacturer’s representatives
  • Able to work both inside and outside sales as required by, and according to the demands of the company
  • Able to travel Nationally to support trade shows, direct customer sales calls, or other business according to the demands of the company
  • Able to successfully communicate and resolve customer issues independently, and also in a team environment as company resources are required
  • Knowledge of customer warranties and resolution 
  • A driven individual with successful problem solving abilities

Anticipated Career Progression:  

  • Upon success in the role, some domestic travel

Compensation $45K - $55K per year depending on experience/qualifications.
