Leads cross functional staff in a manner which supports our corporate strategic business goals. The lead will work closely across IT to support strategic business planning efforts for IT leaders, facilitate IT strategic initiatives, and be responsible for project resource planning for initiatives. The lead will be accountable for ensuring project implementations meet quality standards and all work is completed within budget. In addition, the lead will maintain a close relationship with the organization’s Centers of Excellence (“COE”) and be knowledgeable of standards, policies and metrics set by the COE. Defines and implements approaches that adhere to standards, policies and metrics. The role includes, but is not limited to the following: Collaborates and supports IT Leaders on strategic business planning initiatives. Works with IT leadership members to define initiatives, gather requirements, and drive project deliverables to completion. Manages the full project lifecycle from inception through deployment/delivery. Manages execution team(s) (internal or staff augmentation) in delivering a solution that meets the defined requirements. Identifies and communicates risks, issues and potential solution strategies along with providing status updates to the portfolio/project manager and/or IT leadership. Ensures adherence to our project and software development methodologies and standards to deliver technology solutions that balance business needs and cost with technology requirements related to maintainability, scalability, resiliency, performance, and security. Understands and utilizes project management methodologies to build and manage project plans for infrastructure upgrades and implementations. Identifies and recommends industry best practices. Engages team, peers, and business partners in innovative dialogue to further technical vision.



-Experience managing complex enterprise wide IT projects across multiple areas
-Flexibility to work across a wide variety of IT projects
-Experience working on and/or managing projects related to infrastructure operations and security (e.g. identity and access management, cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster recovery, and hardware upgrades)
-Experience with managing external staff augmentation teams (when required)
-Comfortable driving initiatives to promote the MVP IT Cloud roadmap
-Knowledge of and understanding of the Agile SCRUM Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and its processes and procedures
-Competencies in critical thinking, problem solving, building effective teams, meeting facilitation and conflict management
-Ability to work on multiple projects under time constraints
-Demonstrated experience in fast paced IT environment with ability to lead change through people, process and technology
-Ability to motivate people to perform against defined objectives and to embrace accountability for their performance
-Interpersonal skills (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with most levels of business, technical and end users
-Comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, or related discipline is required.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 years IT related experience Minimum 2 year IT management or initiative management experience.
