The Role:
Talent acquisition is critical to HourlyNerd’s overall success and we are seeking an individual to lead this charge.  We are looking to rapidly grow the HourlyNerd team over the coming months and years so this is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a high-growth tech startup and have an immediate impact.  You will be charged with sourcing, pre-screening, and hiring talent into all parts of the business, in addition to managing all communication and maintenance of our talent pipeline. Responsibilities will include:

  • Design an effective and innovative recruitment strategy to meet monthly and quarterly hiring needs
  • Work with leadership to create the most attractive value proposition for HourlyNerd hiring
  • Develop, grow and position the HourlyNerd brand as a leading destination for top sales, tech and strategy talent
  • Assess potential candidates for fit within the position identified, including skills, education, and experience and also competency and cultural alignment
  • Act as partner, consultant, and advisor to senior management by developing and executing strategies to recruit top talent in a highly competitive market
  • Establish relationships with well-qualified candidates, both internal and external and build the pipeline of passive candidates
  • Utilize traditional and non-traditional resources to identify qualified candidates through job posting sites, referrals, networking, referrals and social media
  • Offer insight, best practices, and interview preparation to both candidates & hiring managers
  • Employment offer creation and negotiation
  • Establish relationships with appropriate networking groups to source and recruit talent
  • Continuously evaluate various HR and recruiting tools in order to streamline the hiring process

Qualifications

Pre-requisites:

  • Experience recruiting top talent for high-growth companies (recruiting experience within a corporate environment preferred but agency and executive search experience will also be considered)
  • Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment
  • In-depth direct sourcing expertise utilizing a range of methods and sources
  • Proven ability to successfully work with a diverse array of management styles
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple workstreams and demonstrate excellent prioritization
  • Ability to drive recruiting campaigns and manage senior stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
