The Marketing Communications Specialist will use customer knowledge, technical expertise, creativity, and innovation to drive growth for Anderson-Negele. A key focus of this role is to support the development of and execute long-term Demand Generation Campaigns that build the Anderson-Negele brand and drive sales of Anderson-Negele products and services through deep customer insights. This position will be responsible for collateral creation (including video, stories, and photography), website management, creating a B2B social media presence, and managing outside vendors through projects. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist ensures that customer facing marketing communication is consistent with corporate strategies, product messaging, and corporate brand standards. The Marketing Communications Specialist collaborates with a group of talented product managers to implement and continuously improve results through Campaign strategies and tactics.


• Working closely with Product Managers, and the Sales Team, executes Campaigns, including product launches, customer facing programs and materials, advertising, email, direct mail, PR, web content, social media, national and regional trade shows, etc.

• Interface with global Marketing Communications counterparts in Germany and India to develop consistent branding and style guides.

• Works with Product Managers to implement demand creation plans. Manages leads process including leads qualification, distribution, and tracking. Develops and executes lead nurturing and loyalty programs.

• Leads planning and execution of tradeshows, including show messaging and on-site coordination of show lead plan.

• Assists in tracking of success of initiatives and participates in problem solving when targets are not being achieved.

• Interfaces with internal and external agencies – services 3rd Parties

• Enters and tracks budget and expenses, including monitoring and submitting invoices for approval and payment.

• May be asked to manage schedules and coordinate content for advertising, tradeshows, product roundups and other media value-add opportunities; and monitor and maintain online presence in variety of outlets.

• Demonstrated ability to create compelling visual product including photographic and video content

Bachelors degree preferred. Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, or graphic arts is preferred.

• Experience in business-to-business markets, business to consumer marketing experience would be a plus.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in marketing, PR, and/or advertising preferred.

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, listening and oral communications skills required.

• Able to work with limited supervision, and self-directed to achieve aggressive program goals required.

• Works well under deadline pressures and flexible to change direction.

• Demonstrated ability to work within fixed budgetary guidelines, negotiate, manage contracts and expenses, and develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.


Demonstrated strong abilities in: Microsoft Office, Access, and Project required. Experience in Adobe CS6 specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Experience in Corel Draw and Act-On is also preferred. Experience in Articulate or other educational software and Salesforce is a plus.
