We now need results-driven Operations Fellows to join our community. 

Success Academy’s commitment to world-class schooling goes beyond delivering high-quality instruction. It also requires operational excellence and the creation of safe, efficient, and aesthetically beautiful learning spaces for our scholars. Success Academy is seeking Operations Fellows who will join us for a minimum 2-year commitment. Our Operations Fellows will have an opportunity to work within our schools as well as our Network Office over the course of a 1-year period spending 5 months across our Success Academy school locations and then the remaining period at our Network Office preparing for the Associate Director of Operations opportunity. 

Initially, our Operations Fellows will spend 5 months placed between one to three of our Success Academy school locations serving as a Business Operations Manager to understand our school operations design at the ground-level. 

Working within one of our Success Academy schools, our Operations Fellows will report to a Managing Director of Operations and have the exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations and manage a dynamic team of professionals to provide our scholars with an unparalleled educational experience. 

-Managing a team of school operations professionals in overseeing all logistics for school-wide events, parent communications, scholar data collection, technology, and inventory management; 

-Advocating for all policies, procedures, and communications across the school community to drive scholar outcomes;

-Ensuring operational excellence and high level of detail in all areas of operations, from school aesthetics, to school health and safety protocols; and

-Establishing and maintaining successful relationships within all members of the school and building partners to drive the goals of our school community.

From there, our Operations Fellows will spend 5 months on a rotational basis between multiple Network Operations Departments learning from and contributing to our Network support structure, and the remaining 2 months preparing for the opportunity to move into the Associate Director of Operations role.

Our Associate Directors support the management of operational teams across 46 separate locations and develop strategic initiatives to support our growth to 100 schools. In the event of successful completion of 8-12 months rotation within our schools and network office, you will have the opportunity to be promoted into an Associate Director of Operations role assuming the responsibilities below.

-Support a cohort of 8-13 schools by leveraging operational expertise and day-to- day logistical guidance;
-Coordinate with operational Network content teams that supports our 46 schools. Operational content includes but is not limited to: Compliance and Performance Management, Event Management, Training & Development, Extracurricular & Enrichment Programming, Renovations & Facilities, and Sourcing & Logistics;
-Execute high-impact initiatives, including improving strategic processes and working directly with Network leadership to craft and execute plans against yearly objectives;
-Apply leadership, management, and analytical skills to critical organizational priorities such as personnel management and conflict resolution;

-Assess and perfect workflow processes throughout the organization with strong project management skills;

-Collaborate with other Network teams to improve operational effectiveness for all schools, and increase synergy across departments and between schools and Network;

-Build and leverage relationships with necessary internal and external parties to increase operational effectiveness;
-Evaluate schools against operations requirements (KPI / metrics) and design action plans for ongoing improvement.
