Outreach & Communications Coordinator

Provides oversight of the development of behavior change campaigns targeting all members of the campus community that shows progress toward campus-wide sustainability goals and commitments. Develops and manage campus-wide education and behavior change campaigns. Coordinates student staff and relevant campus units to develop, implement, assess, and report on programs that engage individuals and offices to incorporate sustainability best practices. Coordinates sustainability communications plan. Designs, writes, and edits content for department and program communications outlets. Develops print and electronic promotional materials and reports. Supervises OPS student communications staff: graphic designer, social media coordinator, web/writing staff. Coordinates project management between communications team. Coordinates communication and correspondence from internal and external inquiries on behalf of the department. Supports department-led programs and events. Represents the department at events, conferences, and university partner committees. Completes special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience related to the duties of this position, Master’s preferred
- Experience or knowledge of current media technology and trends.
- Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.
- Ability to plan and implement behavior change campaigns.
