Portuguese Lecturer, Part-time

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University at Albany seeks a part-time Lecturer to teach one beginning level Portuguese language course during the Spring 2018 semester. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English

  • Teaching experience required

  • Applicants must address in their application their ability to work with a culturally diverse population.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the college level

  • Degree in Portuguese from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization
