This Medicare Special Needs Plan position is responsible for the product development, project management, communication, inter-departmental training, annual changes, configuration, and general oversight of the Medicare Special Needs Plans. They also ensure that operational requirements are created and maintained to implement and support the Medicare SNP products. Manages the implementation of new Medicare SNP products and benefit changes to existing products. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the plan website. Assists with coordination of appropriate Model of Care program updates. Oversees health education information dissemination process. Provides direction and oversight of the Member Services representatives, the notices that are sent to members and Member Service Call Center activities. Monitors all SNP product member communications and mailings to ensure compliance with CMS requirements and receipt of CMS approvals. Communicates necessary information to Product Manager for Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter process, which encompasses the creation, approval, production, and distribution to the Medicare SNP product membership. Oversees development, approval, and production process of plan collateral for current and prospective enrollees (i.e., Evidence of Coverage, formulary, provider and pharmacy directories, plan brochures). Coordinates benefit structure and specifying benefit configuration. Service Area Expansion (SAE) Strategy: manages SNP implementation as specified in the Strategic projects for geographic expansion. Initiates the development process for new Medicare SNP products and Medicare benefit changes. Acts as the Primary liaison for the Sales Department regarding Medicare SNP Products, assisting Sales and Marketing & Communications with marketing strategy, training, roll-out strategies, collateral development and promotions. Guides Provider Relations and ensures SNP provider communication and SNP education takes place.

 

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a healthcare setting with business analyst experience

Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage

Required Skills:

• Superior attention to detail and strong project management skills

• Knowledge in the managed care field, and specifically case management concepts and processes, strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated clinical knowledge including an understanding of population health management and the case management process.

• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and use appropriate technology/methodology to analyze business problems independently.

• Ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy.

• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills, presentation skills, interpersonal savvy & flexibility, sales skills and knowledge of the sales process.

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all internal departments.

• A highly motivated Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and with individuals at all levels of the organization

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel, Microsoft Access, and Power Point.
