The IT Governance Lead has an essential role in the transformation to a service-optimized IT organization.

Our IT Governance Lead will support the effective and efficient use of IT in enabling our organization to reach its goals. The person in this role will help to design and maintain the IT governance framework in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that the governance efforts are in alignment with the strategic technology vision of IT&TS and MVP.


Key roles and responsibilities of this position include:

• Support the company’s overall strategy for the efficient and effective delivery of governance services in a timely, regular, methodical, and well documented manner.

• Communicate IT Governance goals, mission and vision to key stakeholders

• Analyze and execute processes associated with IT Governance, identifying and escalating areas of risk or lack of controls

• Research, define, create, maintain, evaluate and implement documentation related to policies and processes in support of IT Governance goals.

• Ensure that the respective functional heads have the correct IT policies, procedures, standards, and practices for conformance with the IT Governance Framework

• Meets with process owners, decision-makers and other key end users to promote training, awareness and best practices within the enterprise with regards to processes and procedures needed to maintain and mature IT Governance.

• Support cross functional teams in the implementation of new technology

• Prepare and deliver reports which provide status on key metrics that are important measurements of IT governance success.

• Support the evolution and maturity of IT governance through continual process improvement to assist our partners in the procurement of tools and technology to further our cost optimization efforts.

• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, effectiveness, data quality, and productivity.

• Minimal travel between MVP offices, including overnight travel.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.


Position Qualifications


Minimum Education:

College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, business management or information systems and three or more years of related work experience.


Minimum Experience:

5 or more years work experience in IT, related health care business or equivalent experience in Governance, Risk, and/or audit and controls.

5 or more years of business analytics experience.

Experience working in an agile environment employing various agile techniques (ex- Scrum, Kanban, etc.) preferred
