JOB SUMMARY:

The Professional, Direct to Consumer position works as part of an integrated team designed to provide cross-functional marketing and communications expertise to the business. Individual will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing initiatives that strengthen the brand presence and support MVP’s goals for growth and retention across the footprint. Overall team objectives include, but are not limited to, identifying business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing and communications opportunities in the markets we serve. Responsible for developing partnerships that adhere to brand stewardship and communications standards. Individual job responsibilities include: coordination with business leads to develop strategy and tactical implementation to reach targeted direct to consumer segment; implementation of communication tasks using different mediums of communication and marketing tactics; managing the flow of work to ensure it is completed on time and within budget; monitoring and optimizing tactics and tracking campaign results. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related-field

Equivalent amount of education and directly related experience may be considered.

Minimum Experience:

2-4 years’ experience in retail and/or consumer marketing, corporate communications and/or marketing

Required Skills:

• A strong understanding of developing strategy and business plans

• Ability to concept and implement brand activations events

• Ability to travel throughout MVP footprint

• Excellent oral and written and presentation communication skills

• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other departments

• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and take direction from several internal customers

• Ability to make decisions independently

• Flexibility to work outside the normal business day when necessary
