Program Manager (Digital Markting Automation & eCommunications)

Works with the Manager of Production and Marketing Communications, and other Marketing & Communication leadership to build a digital marketing platform and eCommunications competency that drives customer acquisition and retention, and supports brand awareness. Oversees the marketing automation and eCommunications programs at MVP. This role provides direction, input, and assistance to marketing automation and eCommunications strategy and tactics and will have oversight for associated digital marketing platforms, capabilities, and reporting. Assists with customer profiling strategies to support Marketing & Communications objectives. Works with leadership, consultants and/or internal stakeholders to define the capabilities, technologies, governance, and support processes required to manage eCommunications and Digital Marketing Automation at MVP, including preferences management (opt-in / out) across constituents across the lifecycle (acquisition, service and retention needs) and via multiple channels (e.g. email, text, etc.). Rationalizes and/or leverages existing digital marketing automation and/or e-mail platforms and toolset(s) to enable an infrastructure that is able to support and expand to MVP communications needs and marketing objectives. Optimizes the use of web and CRM capabilities in a Digital Marketing Automation / eCommunications context. Enables and manages capabilities for measurement & analytics (e.g. campaigns, conversions, subscribers, etc.), including establishing and delivering dashboards, reporting, trending and analysis to measure program effectiveness. Develops recommendations to optimize digital marketing programs. Works with Marketing & Communications to define, setup, and distribute electronic campaigns and define best approaches to list management and /or sourcing. Monitors trends and best practices, making recommendations accordingly. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Solid understanding of lead management processes and technologies (Salesforce experience a plus)
-A strong understanding of marketing and branding principles and the digital marketing landscape
-Hands-on, collaborative, flexible and motivated with the ability to successfully execute multiple projects and manage priorities
-Strong leadership abilities
-Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and to lead multiple projects that engage internal and external resources to execute
-Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and CAN SPAM compliance
-Exceptional communication skills
-Knowledge of CRM tools and integration with email marketing and customer web preferences
-Requires strong computer literacy skills including digital automation and/or email service providers and /or tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target, etc.)
-Deep understanding of the importance of measurement and understanding of eCommunications analytics

Minimum Education:
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications or Business required.
Equivalent amount of relevant experience and education may be considered.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3+ years' progressive experience in digital marketing automation or eCommunications required.
Experience in lead generation, reporting and analysis, or related roles strongly preferred.
