Are you an HR professional looking for a dynamic, generalist-level position? If so, read further. The Recruitment and New Employment Administrator is a member of a dynamic and highly skilled Human Resources Department. The position is responsible for maintaining agency wide job openings by listing, advertising, and processing applications. This individual will also be in charge of submitting program-applicable background checks, conducting new hire paperwork sessions, fielding any inquiries and questions from current and prospective employees, as well as coordinating and participating in a monthly new hire orientation. Other duties include but are not limited to tracking information for EEO/AAP requirements, assisting in processing payroll and answering employee questions related to a broad array of HR topics. This position requires a minimum of two years previous HR experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work independently with a keen observation for deadlines.

 

Qualifications:

Please make sure: You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, at least 2 years of prior Human Resources experience, and reliable transportation with a New York State Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by our company’s liability insurance policy.

It helps if : You have knowledge of employment law/regulations such as: NYSDOL, FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and/or knowledge of the NYS criminal background clearance process.
