Sales Executive – EMEA

As an Account Executive you will identify and qualify opportunities within a target account list and territory; sell RBM solutions and related services to prospective retailers; manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling; negotiate and close business; and transfer relationship to customer success organization post sale.


  • Strong Understanding of Store Visual Merchandising Management and In Store Campaign execution
  • Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our store merchandising solutions
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the RBM solutions
  • Prospecting, forecasting, resource allocation, and planning of new business deals
  • Participate in the creation, presentation, and sales of a complete value proposition via the telephone, Internet, webinars, and customer meetings
  • Thoroughly qualify all leads and sales opportunities
  • Enterprise level sales experience
  • Present RBM products and services in a compelling, positive, and professional way
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale as required
  • Advise customer on ROI using business drivers while presenting product during sales cycle
  • Leverage existing relationships with executives within the telecommunications and retail industry



  • BS/BA and a minimum of 10+ years of retail technology experience
  • 12-15+ years of experience selling retail management systems or retail visual merchandising management solutions to retailers globally
  • Ability to create leads from your own prospecting efforts, leveraging your contacts and existing accounts and partners
  • Experience building a pipeline and qualifying and identifying deals that you can close
  • Results-driven and able to achieve/exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with internal/external clients
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals in a comparable role. Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions Successful direct business sales experience in retail industry – telecommunications experience a plus
  • EMEA travel will be required for this position 50-70%
  • Fluent with European languages is a plus
