The Senior Leader, IT Business Relationship Manager is a critical part of this transformation.   MVP is looking for an experienced technology professional to serve as the relationship linkage between Business and IT.  We are looking for a leader who can serve as a liaison, facilitator, partner, and strategic advisor to support the business in achieving its objective through the effective use of technology.  The individual must have a service oriented approach and be capable of effectively facilitating and establishing relationships across the business in order to increase the business value realized from IT.   


The role includes but is not limited to the following:


  • Provide strategic advisory services for business partners to leverage technology to achieve their corporate goals
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to drive efficiency, effectiveness, data quality, and productivity
  • Identify, promote, and drive activities that will reduce technical debt
  • People manage Technical Product Owners and Scrum Masters
  • Manage prioritization and decomposition of initiatives and other “business as usual” work in collaboration with Technical Product Owners and Scrum Masters
  • Direct/influence the direction of work done by the scrum teams aligned to their respective business partners and/or strategies
  • Work with leaders in the business to prepare business case/investment scorecards for proposed projects
  • Work with business partners to understand their needs and collaborate with them to develop solutions, innovate, and improve
  • Communicate to business partners and MVP leaders initiative status, roadmaps, and quarterly release plans to effectively manage prioritization and capacity discussions
  • Manage IT related initiative budgets and latest estimates 
  • Promote SDLC processes that leverage Agile methodologies for delivery
  • Work effectively with other Business Relationship Managers  to manage prioritization and delivery of work across multiple business areas




  •  7+ years’ work experience in related business or IT position
  •  3+ years people management experience
  • Budget and financial management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in being customer service oriented
  • Ability to operate as a self-motivated, pro-active, and result-driven problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to understand business processes across the company and recommend solutions to drive quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the organization
  • Ability to develop and communicate business solutions through the effective use of technology
  • Knowledge of health plan core business processes and operations preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)


 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or related field
