JOB TITLE: Specialist, Analytics Adoption (Job ID: 898)

The Analytics Adoption Specialist position is focused on communicating the value of Informatics products to internal and external end-users, in order to facilitate the adoption of new features and maximize the return on investment for both end-users and MVP. As such, the Analytics Adoption Specialist should be familiar with healthcare industry trends and public policies that are creating new needs for data analytics, with the ability to communicate how Informatics products will help end users meet those needs. Provider efficiency analysis will be an area of particular focus. With guidance from a product owner, the Analytics Adoption Specialist will work closely with scrum teams to articulate the value of each development sprint, as well as the high level value of overall initiatives. The Analytics Adoption Specialist will be familiar with the scope, status, and functionality of development projects, and express that knowledge through written materials that address specific audiences inside and outside of MVP. Examples of such materials include user guides, training materials, feature/benefit descriptions, and more. By fostering the adoption of data analytics, the Analytics Adoption Specialist will help enable and empower other MVP departments, including Network Contracts, Marketing & Communications, Population Health Managers, Provider Relations, and Sales and Account Management. The Analytics Adoption Specialist will: Establish a close working relationship with scrum development teams and maintain awareness of their current objectives, priorities, and progress. Gather input and follow general guidance from product owners to articulate the benefit to MVP and end users of features in the product backlog through written communications at the department and corporate level. Support product management’s interactions with the marketing department to help define the goals, objectives, value, and status of ongoing development efforts. Follow established processes to coordinate non-technical aspects of product/feature releases, such as webinars, email communications, and training sessions. Using existing templates create user guides and training materials that clearly demonstrate the value of new features, how to use new features, and how to optimize the value of new features. Assist product owners by conducting public policy and competitive research in order to understand customer needs and industry trends then summarize this learning in written form for Informatics and other MVP departments. Participate in discussions of product strategy and roadmap priorities, drawing from their industry knowledge and interactions with end-users



Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare administration, or equivalent experience. Completion of, or progress towards, a Master’s degree in a health care related field would be preferable.

Minimum Experience:

  • One year of relevant experience administering a health care program or implementing a health care project.
  • One year of experience producing written materials in support of a health care program or project.
  • One year of professional exposure to value based payment programs.
  • Familiarity with health insurance or managed care preferred.
  • Experience with provider efficiency analysis and tools such as RowdMap preferred.

Required Skills:

• General familiarity with healthcare administration and value-based payment programs.

• Strong writing skills; able to write for a range of audiences and communicate complicated processes with clarity.

• Ability to document business processes and end-user software tasks, as defined by scrum teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to provide written summaries of public policies or industry trends.

• Strong organizational skills; able to work with cross functional teams to execute project plans.

• Develop collaborative relationships with different functional areas within MVP.
