Basic Function: This individual will be responsible for overseeing all NERIC processes of NYS testing, including 3-8 Assessments, Regents and computer-based testing. The individual will be working very closely with internal NERIC departments to help ensure the proper workflow, integrity and accountability of the processes. The individual will work in partnership with our 7 BOCES to help LEA staff better utilize testing data and reports to inform instruction.

Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for overseeing all NERIC processes of NYS testing, including 3-8 Assessments, Regents and computer-based testing. The individual will be working very closely with internal NERIC departments to help ensure the proper workflow, integrity and accountability of the processes. The individual will work in partnership with our 7 BOCES to help LEA staff better utilize testing data and reports to inform instruction. This skilled professional works independently and collaboratively with colleagues and does other related work as assigned.

Starting Date: July 1, 2016

Starting Salary: $54,813 - $73,628 Based on experience and qualification; prorated to the amount of service rendered. The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

1. Holds a current New York State administrative certificate;

2. At least three (3) years of successful, full-time experience as a classroom teacher (data and training experience can substitute for the classroom experience);

3. Two (2) years school district or BOCES administrative experience preferred;

4. Documented experience in the area of staff development planning and delivery. Specific experience in the area of integration of technology for instruction preferred; 5. Degree in Instructional and/or Assistive Technology preferred;
