Provide oversight and support for the building and grounds maintenance for assigned company locations, including ensuring that the facilities are safe, compliant, up to code, and fully operational. Reports issues to leadership team as necessary. Partners with business areas to plan, adjust, communicate and monitor facilities needs. The Facilities Supervisor will collaborate with Contract Management, to manage Facilities vendor contracts. Works with Facilities leadership to maintain relationships with vendors and ensure vendors adhere to performance expectations. Provides input into facilities planning and space allocation working closely with Facilities Leadership, business areas and vendors to plan, coordinate and execute approved employee moves and space planning. Ensure building processes and compliance programs are met. Ensure utility systems are inspected and operating in accordance with regulations. Coordinates maintenance and cleaning services across all locations including the coordination of regular maintenance and cleaning schedules as well as the expeditious resolution of issues. Supervises facilities staff in assigned location(s) creating a high performing team committed to creating a safe and compliant work atmosphere. Ensures Facilities related policies and procedures are compliant, maintained and communicated to staff. Perform other duties as assigned.




Minimum Education:

AAS degree or combination of education and directly related experience required.

Certification in facilities management a plus.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance/management with demonstrated leadership experience required.

People supervision experience in maintenance, facilities environment preferred.

Experience in facilities management for multiple buildings/locations including buildings in excess of 100,000 square feet preferred.

Experience with Building Management Software preferred, experience with Tridumm software ideal.

Experience in vendor management, working with third party vendors helpful.

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrated relationship management abilities.
  • Working knowledge of building systems – utilities, etc.
  • Ability to coach, develop, mentor, lead team and staff
  • Strong Computer skills, with strong working knowledge in Microsoft office suite or similar software.
  • Detailed oriented skills, accurate and efficient
  • Strong skills in Time management, -multitasking, prioritizing and managing work efficiently and effectively.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to follow company policies, and procedures
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
