Instruct high school students in the proper practices, procedures and skills associated with Electrical Trades.  To instruct students on residential and commercial wiring methods as well as conduit and raceway layout, design and bending calculations.  Instruct students in classroom as well as work sites.

Responsibilities:

1.     Must have a strong working knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and related mathematics.

2.     Must have an excellent working knowledge and practical application experience of the N.E.C and of electrical instrumentation/test equipment.

3.     Must be proficient in both residential and commercial wiring methods and applications to include conduit and raceway layout, design and an emphasis on bending calculations.

4.     The candidate will be able to manage large sized classroom (15+), which includes live work managing a project and classes on work sites as well as teach within a lecture and a laboratory classroom.

Qualifications:

A.     Bachelor’s degree with Certification in Electric Technology; or

B.     Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with two (2) years of Electric Technology experience with eligibility of Transitional A certificate; or

C.    Five (5) years of Electric Technology experience with eligibility of a Transitional A certificate.
