To manage academic, social and emotional needs of children with disabilities in various Special Education programs. These particular teaching assignments are full time, probationary appointments, which will act in the capacity as the building substitute.

Assessment, curriculum development (IEP) instruction and evaluation of students with disabilities. This teaching position requires deep knowledge of behavior management and trauma informed instruction, as well as literacy, math and instructional skills concomitant to the Common Core Learning Standards.

Starting Date:  September 5, 2017

Application Deadline:  August 11, 2017


A. Permanent certification in General Special Education K-12 or

B. Students with disabilities 7-12 certification

C. Teaching experience with students who have a variety of disabilities

Starting Salary:  Dependent upon step of current contract prorated to the amount of services rendered. The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint support criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
