This role is exciting, with the opportunity to communicate in a consultative way and build long term partnerships. These partnerships will be focused within the financial sector – wealth management and asset management so we’re looking for an articulate and self-motivated account manager who would love to travel around America and who loves to talk on the phone and build meaningful partnerships with their clients.

If you have little or no experience and have recently come out of College, that’s OK; we don’t actually require that much experience, for us it’s about you, your personality and your energy.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will support the sales team and learn to use our software. You’ll be shadowing our senior sales team to learn how to communicate the Citywire story, with a view to building your own client base.

Then you can build and nurture relationships with marketing teams at asset management firms and key individuals across media agencies. You will present new ventures and ideas to clients and agencies and work innovatively to grow revenue whilst developing a deep knowledge of the asset management industry and keeping on top of the news and features which affect your clients.



Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship building will be second nature to you and you’ll enjoy meeting people and influencing their behaviour
  • In our experience our best sales people have a long-term outlook and are able to create a sense of urgency, keeping the long-term relationship intact while winning shorter term business
  • You will be given autonomy to make your own decisions and be keen to take the reins rather than waiting for instruction
  • You will have an interest in the asset management industry or back yourself to develop an interest in the asset management industry. Our best sales people know the industry as well as their clients and in some cases better
  • People would describe you as energetic, enthusiastic and tenacious with a sense of humour!

Salary: $42,900.00 to $43,000.00 /year
