This full-time Trust Officer position is located in Oneonta, NY. Major responsibilities include providing trust administration and estate planning services to clients of the Wealth Management Division. Job responsibilities also include the participation in new business development efforts.
Qualifications for this position include a minimum of a J.D. or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field of study and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in trust industry or related position preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills including a comfort level for public speaking; strong analytic and problem solving skills; ability to analyze, comprehend, and interpret legal documents; accounting knowledge; strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently; strong computer skills; knowledge of trusts, estates, investments, employee benefits; and a valid driver’s license. Candidate must be willing to travel. Salary is commensurate with experience.
