Women's Golf, Assistant Coach

The University at Albany, a member of the America East Conference/MAAC, invites applications for the position Assistant Coach Women's Golf.  The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, assistance with program administration, practice and competition coaching, skill development, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, scheduling, budgeting, public relations, fund raising activities and compliance with University, NCAA and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regulations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
  • Competed successfully as a Division I collegiate golf student-athlete or coach
  • Candidates should have a demonstrated effectiveness in communication, organizational, promotional, recruitment and budget management skills. 
  • An established relationship with collegiate golf coaching peers, as well as established recruiting contacts at the high school and junior college levels
  • Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to student-athlete academic success as well as a proven record of compliance with NCAA regulations.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Applicants must address their ability to work with culturally diverse populations.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
