Use of Graphic Designers and Printers


The Office of Communications & Marketing works regularly with a number of talented graphic designers who are familiar with Union’s Style Guide and with the Union brand and is happy to share their contact information. To maintain the visual consistency and quality of our communications, the Office should be consulted before outside graphic designers are hired for a project. 


The Union College Print Manager is also part of the Communications & Marketing team and should be consulted about all major printing jobs, especially pieces intended for external distribution.

The Print Manager will direct the job to the appropriate resource, be it Union’s internal copy and printing center or an outside printer. The College has specific policies regarding the selection process for outside printers, so it is important that graphic designers and internal project coordinators work closely with the Print Manager throughout the project.
