Michele Day graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and also one in sociology. She completed her master’s in mental health counseling at University at Albany and served as the graduate assistant for Leader's in Service. After completing her practicum and internship at higher institutions, she continues to enjoy working with the diverse college student population here at Union. Some of her areas of clinical interest include identity development, athletics, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and trauma. Her approach to treatment is eclectic, molding the therapeutic process to meet the needs of student.
Michele continues to explore her research interests and has presented her research on the psychosocial factors affecting weight gain in first year college students as well as on gender stereotypes.
Michele enjoys traveling and being outdoors, spending time with friends, music, sports, baking and playing piano.
