The Union College Department of Chemistry invites applications for a faculty position beginning in Fall 2018.

PHYSICAL CHEMIST. The candidate for this tenure-track position (pending final administrative approval) will have teaching responsibilities principally in physical chemistry and general chemistry courses. The candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, biophysical chemistry or a related sub-discipline, postdoctoral experience and the potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and research. Candidates whose research program would contribute to the College’s ongoing interdisciplinary activities are especially welcome.
