Hospitality - West Dining

Full Time - Benefit Eligible | Grade DS06 | Days and hours will vary | 37 hrs per wk, 35 wks per yr. |

Summary:

The Dining Service Specialist performs general cooking, baking, ordering, and receiving duties. In addition, will perform the following duties: - Preparing hot items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to HACCP guidelines. - Setting up hot serving line for all meals, including any catered events. - Instructing servers of portion sizes. - Assisting with production meetings and HACCP records. - Preparing baked goods according to HACCP guidelines. - Cleaning and sanitizing work area and equipment. - Receiving food orders per HACCP guidelines. - Recording inventory - Preparing weekly food order - Performing other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

Must have two years of related experience and be safety conscious, able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions, and work with a diverse group of staff and students.
