Request an event/space/funding

Click the link below to request space or an event in a Minerva House. Please read the funding guidelines before submitting an event request. Requests will be sent to your House Council for review, and they will contact you as soon as they have voted on it.

Request an Event!

The more information you provide (particularly in the “Event Description” box) the easier it will be for the House Councils to understand your request. For any questions about scheduling or requesting an event using the 25live system please contact Assistant Director of Minerva Programs, Laura Munkres (munkresl@union.edu or x8790).

IF YOU ARE REQUESTING SPACE IN A MINERVA HOUSE BUT NOT FUNDING:

  1. Click "Create an Event"
  2. Log in with your Union username and password
  3. Fill in all required fields

IF YOU ARE REQUESTING AN EVENT AND FUNDING:

  1. Click "Create an Event"
  2. Log in with your Union username and password
  3. Select "A Minerva" in the Event Type field (THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR FUNDING)
  4. Fill out all of the required fields on the first page
  5. Hit "Next" at the bottom of the page
  6. Fill out AS MANY "Event Custom Attributes" as applicable. The more information you put here and the more specific you are, the most likely the House Council will review your proposal.
  7. Click "Finish"
  8. You will hear back from the House Council members after their next meeting. See the House Council meeting schedule below.

House Council Meeting Days/Times:

  • Beuth: Wednesdays at 12:50 p.m. in Beuth House
  • Breazzano: Mondays at 12:50 p.m. in Breazzano House
  • Golub:  Mondays at 12:50 p.m. in Golub House
  • Green: Mondays at 12:50 p.m. in Green House
  • Messa: Mondays at 12:50 p.m. in Messa House
  • Sorum: Tuesdays at 12:50 p.m. in Sorum House
  • Wold: Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in Wold House

Please refrain from finalizing your event until you hear back from your House Council with approval. If you are requesting funding as well, remember that Union College is tax exempt; therefore, we can not reimburse for tax. If you are planning on purchasing items from somewhere other than on campus, you will need to contact the Minerva Programs Office (x8790) for a tax exempt form.
