End of Term Hall Closing

Hall Closing:

The last day of finals for the fall term is Tuesday, November 21, 2017.  All residence halls officially close on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 12 noon SHARP!  If you are a resident student you are required to vacate the residence hall within 24 hours after your last exam.  All residence halls will open again on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 12 noon, and no earlier.

Break Housing:

If you need to stay for any part of winter break, when our residence halls are closed, you must complete the “Break Housing Application”.  All students (including international, exchange, athletes, etc.) must complete the application to reside on campus during the break. 

Step 1:  Log into union.edu/myhousing using your Union username and password.

Step 2:  Click on the “Applications” tab at the top and select “Break Housing Application”.

Step 3:  Sign off on the terms for staying over the break, answer the questions, and select “continue” to submit.

Once you submit the application you will see a confirmation screen and receive an email.  You will not receive an additional confirmation email from our office, unless there is an issue or concern with your break housing application.  After you complete the application you will not be able to submit it again or make changes.  Please contact our office via email, so we have the request in writing, if you wish to cancel your break housing request or change the dates you are on campus.
