Responsibilities: Chris oversees all facets of safety and security provided to the campus. He has been a member of the Campus Safety Department since 1988 after attending Herkimer County Community College. Chris began his career as an officer and has managed all aspects of the department on his way to the leadership role. Chris has a daughter in graduate college and a son who is an undergraduate student. He volunteers regularly for charity running events and coaches a travel baseball team. Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the activities of administrative personnel, assisting in development of security training programs, evaluating personnel, coordinating with local law enforcement agencies, promoting positive community service and relations with the entire community, and working with the Dean of Students Office. He has attended Schenectady County Community College and Buffalo State College. Mr. Constantine has retired from the Niskayuna Police Department after a successful 20 year career. He left his post of Director of Homeland Security/Emergency Management for Schenectady County to join the staff here at Union College. He resides in Niskayuna with his wife and three children. Continuing Education: Specialized training in crime prevention, community policing, and the use of science and technology in the investigation of major criminal activity. FBI National Academy DCJS Master Instructor - Specializing in the areas of physical fitness, defensive tactics and officer safety. New York State Police trained in investigation of child abuse, family violence and sex offenses.
Traffic and Transportation Department
Responsibilities: Mr. Olsen has been a member of the Campus Safety Department since 1994. He oversees the Traffic and Transportation Department, providing traffic enforcement and transportation to the college community. Responsibilities: Ms. Underwood coordinates and supports the information systems for the department, including the reporting and Card Access systems. Responsibilities: Sgt. Stern is the night shift supervisor. He has been with Union College for more than 10 years.
Lisa is a retired City of Albany Police Officer. She has 20 years experience in Law Enforcement, Crime Prevention and Community Relations. During her service to the City of Albany, Lisa helped develop and implement various Department Services, establishing her well based knowledge in the field.
