Research interests

My research focuses on factors that affect how individuals perceive, as well as how individuals attempt to justify, antisocial behavior. More specifically, I am interested in disparagement in racial language/humor (e.g., racial slurs), and masculine honor beliefs and violent response to threats and insults.

Teaching interests

My teaching interests include General Psychology, Social and Personality Psychology, Methods and Statistics, and courses related to Status, Inequality, Aggression, and Humor.
