Krista is the Continuing Resources Specialist at Schaffer Library. She’s responsible for processing the numerous periodicals, and maintaining them in their variety of formats. She also trains and supervises student assistants that aide her in this endeavor.
She has worked at Union since August 2008. She had previously worked at Grand Blanc Schools in Michigan, as a library tech at Cook Elementary. Prior to that, she had volunteered in her boy’s elementary school library for a number of years. She has her B.A. from UMass Amherst in Early Childhood Education.
Krista moved to New York in 2005 with her husband, Tom and their two boys, Tim and Kevin. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies, exercising, and gardening, and more recently, reupholstering!
