How do I get access to digital books and other resources not currently available in the library’s collections?
- Ordering resources through Interlibrary Loan
The interlibrary loan department will continue to provide electronic article requesting to the Union College community. Please be advised that other institutions may be experiencing changes in their service delivery, but we will make every effort to obtain materials for our users. We will review hard copy loan requests on a case by case basis. Please see our interlibrary webpages for service updates.
- Purchasing digital resources through the library
To request new EBooks or electronic editions of print books in the collection, please use the Suggest a Purchase form or contact Raik Zaghloul (firstname.lastname@example.org), Head of Collection Development. Please note that not all titles are licensed for libraries. We will do the best we can to acquire what you need.
- Locating resources made freely available by publishers and online libraries
Many publishers and online libraries have opened their collections or eased their borrowing restrictions to help meet the unique needs of remote teaching and learning. To see if a resource you’d like to use is available online elsewhere, check with the publisher or consult the updated access policies list
