Carol McGlauflin is a staff member in the Technical Services Department of Schaffer Library since 1986. She has the distinguished title of Catalog Services Specialist. Her dedication to the College and ability to multi task earned her a “U Are A Treasurer” award. In addition, Carol is proudly part of the College’s Quarter Century Club. Carol is also a member of the Capital Area Library Assistants (CALA) organization.
As a native Schenectadian, Carol graduated from Linton High School and attended Hope College and Lyndon State College. Carol also holds a position as a Clerk with the Schenectady County Public Library where she has been employed since 1999 in their Circulation Department. Carol’s family includes her husband Dennis, her mother, Lois Bing, her son Brian, who is a PGA Professional, a twin sister and brother. For enjoyment Carol loves music, played the piano and flute, loves the ocean, and a good book. After all, it has to be 5 o’clock somewhere!
