Eric Hatch is originally from Iowa, and has been involved in dance since the age of 10. After graduating high school, he took his first professional dance job at Hershey Park in Hersey, PA. In 2000, he began his undergrad in Dance at Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA. While in college, Eric's studies included Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Katherine Dunham Technique, and Musical Theater. Eric was privileged to perform with choreographers and companies such as Robert Battle, Sean Curran, Margo Sappington, and Hubbard St. Dance Company. Throughout college he worked at Busch Gardens, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and Tokyo Disneyland. After receiving his BA, Eric moved to New York City to pursue a career on Broadway. After the first year of auditioning in the city, Eric landed his first of four Broadway shows: West Side Story Revival, Mary Poppins, Legally Blonde, and The Pirate Queen. After ten years of performing, Eric left the city to raise a family in Upstate New York. Eric currently resides as full-time dance faculty at Schenectady High School and he is a proud father of a daughter.
