In winter 1992, his second term at Union, William García traveled with students for a term abroad in Seville. It would be the first of 23 Union terms abroad and mini terms he has led during his 30 years at the College.

Michael Moore has been guiding students and families through the admissions process for nearly 25 years, the last three at Union as associate dean of admissions and coordinator of multicultural recruitment.

Her research focuses on ultrathin materials and devices, but Yijing Stehle, assistant professor of mechanical engineering, has a wide array of interests beyond her academic discipline.

Joan Thompson, an RN at Wicker Wellness Center is the proud mom to energetic Labrador retrievers and therapy dogs Margot and Mally.

Helen Hanson '83 is an associate professor in the Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering Department.  After graduate school in Cambridge, Mass., she was a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ryan Keytack joined Union last winter as assistant dean of students for Campus & Community Living & Learning. He came to Union from Philadelphia in June, where he lived and worked in the College House system at the University of Pennsylvania.

As the Department of Music’s director of performance and a lecturer in choral and orchestral conducting, Shou-Ping Liu loves directing the Union College Choir and Orchestra. She feels inspired by her students’ dedication.

Francesca Mesiti, director of Talent Acquisition in the Human Resources Office, joined Union in August. She is dedicated to helping people find their dream job and ensuring new employees have a great experience.
