In fall 2007, the College transferred ownership of a two-family home on Barrett Street to Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, making the Union the first college in the Capital Region to provide both property and labor to Habitat. Dozens of students, faculty and staff members pitched in to make the house a home for a local family.
