Tamana Bismillah (’15) is as Research Scientist at AMRI for a year, and then on to medical school. Fatima Hosain (’15) and Kirti Chakote (’15) are attending Albany Medical College. Mary Beth Gadarowski (’15) is a Minerva Fellow in Johannesburg, South Africa working with HIV prevention and other initiatives. She has been accepted to SUNY Upstate Medical University, Class of 2019. Song-MY Hoang (’15) is pursuing her PhD degree in Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh. Natasha Scott (’15) is currently enrolled in NYC Teaching Fellows program receiving certification for Biology, Grades 7-12 from Pace University. Her future plans include a Doctorates degree in the sciences. Evan Leibovitz (’15) is working for IBM Healthcare, and is in the process of applying to medical school.
Daniel Rice (’14) is a veterinary student at Tufts University. Colleen Cook (’14) will begin veterinary school at Midwestern University in September. Kaleigh Ahern (’14) is finishing up her Masters Degree from Wadsworth Center. Natasha Jhala (’14) is a student at Columbia University’s School of Public Health. Danya Shabi (’14) is working as a physician office assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and applying to dental schools. Olivia Townsend (’14) is working as a Technician for the NY DEC.
Emelia Failing (’13) will be working as part of the Genomics Platform at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Meredith Adamo (’13) is a Minerva Fellow in the rural highlands of Nicaragua working on various health projects with Save the children. Todd Wechter (’13) has secured a position as a research technician at Weill Cornell before applying to med school.
Elana Korn (’12) is currently a first year student at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Bonnie Campbell (’11) is pursuing a D.O. at the Glendale campus of Midwestern University. Prior to this she worked as an Ophthalmic Scribe and Refraction Technician. Leah Pepe (’11) is currently getting her doctorate in physical therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Brian Goldman (’11) is in his 2nd year at Western University Medical School He made Dean’s List and is in the AOA Honor Society. Patrick O’Hern (’11) is entering his third year of graduate school at Brown University pursuing his PhD in Neuroscience.
Rachel Fitz (’09) is in her fourth year at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She will be pursuing a career in anesthesiology or internal medicine. She is planning a May wedding after graduation!
Stephanie Seeman (’08) is a PhD candidate in Neurobiology and Behavior in the Perlmutter Lab at the University of Washington.
Ellen Matloff (’91) is Director of the Cancer Genetic Counseling Program at Yale Cancer Center and recently testified in front of the US Supreme Court supporting the argument that genes are natural and therefore not patentable.
