Joe Conti is the campus arborist. A certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture, he has a degree in urban tree management from Paul Smith's College. He joined Union in 2007. Joe enjoys working to keep the campus landscape safe and beautiful. He looks forward to continuing to grow the College's urban forest and is grateful to be a part of the team that takes care of the country's first planned college campus. After more than a decade in Schenectady, Joe and his family now enjoy the country life in Galway. They like taking their dog, Jakkie, for walks to see the cows and horses. Their two cats delight in napping often and not padding about the grounds. Joe and his two daughters enjoy helping his wife make the family's favorite dinner -- calzones.
