Saratoga Living features interview with incoming president Elizabeth Kiss

Saratoga Living features an interview with Elizabeth Kiss, the president-elect of Union College.

Kiss, an Oxford-trained philosopher and former college president who most recently served as CEO of the Rhodes Trust, was named as the 20th president of the College in February.

Kiss (pronounced ‘quiche’) will succeed David Harris, who announced last fall he would be stepping down at the end of the current academic year after seven years. Kiss begins her new role July 1.

Donation of house to Union featured in the Daily Gazette

Last winter, Robert McFarland gave something precious to Union College – the Schenectady house he called home for decades.

Neither an alumnus nor parent or grandparent of a graduate, McFarland nevertheless loves Union – for what it gave him and what it continues to give the community.

The Daily Gazette featured a story about the donation on its front page.
