Although we've had to cancel on-campus programs through July 19, 2020, there are many ways to connect with us virtually!

Currently we're evaluating on-campus visits in two week increments. Please check back frequently for updates.

Prospective Student PROGRAMS

Experience Union from the comfort of your home with these virtual opportunities:

Virtual Open House

Offered Thursdays at 7:00 pm eastern time, each Open House program will feature an introduction from Admissions, an overview of academic life from a faculty member and class dean, and a panel discussion with current students. At 8:00 pm, you have the option to stay in the session for a virtual tour of Union's beautiful campus with one of our student guides.

Virtual Information Session

Every weekday at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm eastern time, an admissions dean will give an overview of the College and answer your questions.

Virtual Tour

Choose a tour option below to learn about Union's campus and community, including academic buildings, residence halls, our unique Minerva Houses and the Nott Memorial (a national historic landmark)!

  • Take a narrated, self-guided tour while on campus or at home using our Guidebook app.
  • Explore campus through our interactive map.
  • Check out this tour video, with Lauren Smith '20.
  • Register for a guided virtual tour offered on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. A Union student will lead you through the virtual tour while answering questions and sharing Union stories.

Virtual Interview

Let's talk. Prepare for an enjoyable conversation about your academic career, interests and personal goals. Interviews are recommended because they allow us to get to know you better, adding another dimension to your admissions application.

Virtual interviews are available for high school juniors/rising seniors. Appointments are offered Monday-Friday at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm eastern time. Registration is available up to 48 hours in advance.

Visit Experience: Tour and Information Session

Bring your questions. Stroll around campus with a student guide. You’ll explore classrooms, Minerva Houses, arts facilities, the campus center, research labs and more. The visit experience begins with a group information session for prospective students and their families. Next, student volunteers give tours of the campus that typically last 75 minutes.

Interviews

Let's talk. Prepare for an enjoyable conversation about your academic career, interests and personal goals. On-campus interviews are strongly recommended because they allow us to get to know you better, adding another dimension to your admissions application. We interview high school students beginning May 1 of the junior year through Jan. 31 of the senior year.

Get ready for a busy day. You’ll meet students, professors and coaches. Hear panel discussions about academics and student life. Lunch, too! Best of all: at the fall open house, you can choose from hundreds of classes to attend.

This is as real as it gets. Shadow a student on a typical Union day. Sit in on classes, have lunch with future friends, check out the residence halls and live the life of a Union student.

School group visits

We welcome school groups and community-based organizations to campus for a tour and/or information session. Groups of 10 or more should register in advance. We can only accommodate school groups on weekdays.
